Vision
as far as hiphop goes, i like to keep it real gritty w/ the drums distorted w/ that Big L and Primo feel. In my opinion, every artist has gotten a little bit from others. Primo and Rza changed the game of sampling and beat making, and Blaze took it to another level. Remember "Oh Boy" and "Kingdom Come"? Oh my GOD. So learning some of their techniques, I now use samples w/ extreme chopping and filtering. To me Art immitates life and life immitates Art. With every beat that I make during the creation, whatever sound that I come up with happens to snap a pic in my head of how I saw or felt about a certain place, situation, or person who i came across in the past that reminds me of that particular sound(the part of life in this matter). Doing so keeps me focused kinda like a painter. They see it in their head and watch it come to life. As they add more detail to it, the picture in their head tends to change as they go and sometimes accidently the mural comes out somewhat different turns out a masterpiece. The same w/ me, my beats reflet the vision in my head and as the song progresses, the picture becomes clearer, and the song is turning out to how I want it to be. I just sit back and watch it come to life. Sound like poetry but music alone is Poetry. Mixing Blaze drums techniques and that ol' school boom bap sound mixed w/ mine sometimes reminds me of them NY trains back in the early 90's graphed out crazy. Put myself there and just rock it out.

Unity
to bring people together plays a big role in my music. Having grudges amongst one another brings negativity around me and I can't stand it. Music is what we must have in life to grow and move forward. So putting hate in music affects not only your work and purpose but society. And to hate on someone elses music because of what they look like, and where they come from, just brings you and the people in your circle down. To down someone is one thing. Working together to better your craft and you as a person is everything. No matter where you're from, art has no race, color, background.

Diversity
The taste of music I got is crazy. I go from blues to country. The style of beat making is universal. There is no telling what I'm going to drop next. When I listen to music, there are different categories like rock, country, alternative, and so forth. But hiphop is branched out now. HipHop to those that don't understand is just a category, but to us, it's a lifestyle. I live by what that means but here and there, I make lil' jon music. Bangers for the club. Funny I'll be bumpin' Joe Scudda talkin' bout Candy rappers then I'll switch it up and listen to T-Pain. I like to keep it diverse cause it's fun and have a good time with it.
I go with the seasons' change keepin' it raw at the sametime but never forgot about my roots in hiphop.

Hood

Hood music talks about money, drugs, and hos. Growing up listening to 2 of the best (you already know) influenced me into becoming who I am, music wise. I started off as a rapper having the same terminology wanting to be street, not knowing there are other levels of hiphop. But as you grow as a person and an artist, you find and develop a sense of realness and you find yourself through situations trying to find it. Once you've found it, everything else is smooth because you ain't gotta prove anything else. I'm not a gangster, a thug, or a hustler. I never used to do hood music but just working w/ such rappers who I think a very few of them are telling the truth got me to understand their purpose. it's what they know and been at it their whole life. Because of what the streets could do to someone can drive them to act upon that lifestyle. But those who rose above it and gave back to the hood using rap earned my respect. That's what it is then it's real, hiphop. You good at what you do, then do it as long it'll benefit in the long run. Run crack, make money, go to jail. Run crack music, make money, your fans will go to jail...but u won't. j/p.
movement

With all the beats that I've made either club bangers, gangsta music, r & b, etc. I say the ones that really affected me are the ones that I see could be used in a movement. I say a movement because it changes motion in a cycle. Other than the norm sort of speak, trying to make a difference in today's world. Music that would uplift someone or it would bring out the better in people. I play the piano for the church and watching peoples' lives change before my eyes because of worship, all began for me. A gift from God to speak to his people. This is who I am.
